Leading Commercial Drainlayer

SOLD

Leading Commercial Drainlayer

Vendor seeking to retire and sell his profitable commercial drain laying business established in 1985. The business currently has circa $890K, high margin WIP and an experienced and loyal in-house team of 10 full-time staff (eight of whom are qualified trade professionals) freeing it from dependence on expensive and over-stretched contractors. This is underpinned with refined and effective operational systems, an experienced QS, and recently upgraded fleet of diggers and truck. Its excellent, long-standing reputation in the industry has secured an extensive and loyal customer base, and a sales pipeline filled with substantial and high margin work.

The owner, in his late 60s, is looking to exit the responsibilities of business ownership. He still enjoys working in the field, however, and is prepared to stay on to continue with project management work and mentoring staff on a contract basis to ensure a smooth and successful transition to a new owner.
